I’m up early.  Well, I should say I’ve been up since 2 AM, which is early, right at this moment it’s almost not so early anymore.

Not a whole lot goes on at 2 AM, but I decided to get up because it beats the alternative, lay there, toss and turn, fall asleep around 5:45, 15 minutes before having to get up anyway.  So what better to do than write some updates down?

Last week we went to Montana, where it proceeded to snow the entire time.  The day before “it was beautiful and 70″ according to my mother, so we packed for good weather.  Shame on me for not checking myself.  Incidentally, the day after we left, “it was beautiful and 70.”  Does this happen to you?  It was still a fun trip and it was nice to be away from work for a while.

Speaking of work, some of you have asked for stalker updates.  Word going around the workplace is said individual is “getting help” however a friend/co-worker of mine has received a piece of mail from him (!), a congratulatory card (she just had a baby) with nice note…but, uh, they weren’t friends, and considering other recent events…it’s uber-creepy.  If I were her husband I would probably go ballistic.  I guess I feel okay posting updates because if I disappear or anyone in my family goes missing, etc., everyone will know who did it.  Plus Colorado has the most excellent Make My Day law “just incase.”  *Shudder*

We have a fish that won’t go to the big toilet bowl in the sky.  It’s a miracle that Nemo is still here.  Nemo is a fish with stripes and he is the last of five fish that AJ has in a little 2.5 gallon tank.  Nemo went a week without food or light or anything, and the fish tank wasn’t set up properly so there is a dangerous filter hazard (that is what happened to the other four).  Now wait a minute, stop freaking out, PETA.  I didn’t mean to not feed Nemo.  That week when we were gone to Montana, he was supposed to be fed by my rockin’ friend Sharon, but when she came by the house to feed the freeloader that is Renegade, she forgot to feed Nemo.  (It’s okay, Sharon.)  Coincidentally, Sharon has a cat named Nemo.  Anyway…

The darn fish is still alive!  I was hoping thinking maybe it would have expired so we can get goldfish…heck, almost nothing can kill a goldfish.  Goldfish are the cacti of the pet world…a living thing designed to be owned by people who forget to feed and water living things.  That reminds me, I should water my cacti.
